You are the God of our salvation,

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Almighty God, we have gone our own way, not loving you as we ought, nor loving neighbor as ourselves. We have sinned against you in thought, word and deed and in what we have failed to do. We deserve your condemnation.
Father, forgive us. Help us to love you and our neighbor,
and to live for your honor and glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord.…

ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
We read in Hebrews that “when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, and ....by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.” The good news is this: in and through Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven.
