*PRAYER OF THE DAY
*HYMN 1 “Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!”
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Be gracious to us today our Lord, for we are in need of your mercy. We are often quick to doubt and slow to pray. We are tempted to let go of faith when we need to hang on. We are discouraged by wrong when we need to be encouraged by your Spirit. O God, our loving Lord, give us strength to trust in you all the days of our lives…
Silent Prayers of confession
WORDS OF ASSURANCE
In Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting our trespasses against us, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us. (2 Corinthians 5:19) Hear then Christ’s word of grace to us: our sins are forgiven.
Thanks be to God!

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen, amen.

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the
third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic* Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
