PRELUDE “Prelude on “Converse”
(What A Friend We Have In Jesus) Dale Wood
*CALL TO WORSHIP – from Psalm 52:8-9
One: We are like olive trees flourishing in the house of God,
for we trust in God’s unfailing love forever and ever.
All: We will thank you forever, O God,
for what you have done.
One: We will hope in your Name, for it is good,
in the presence of your faithful people.
All: Let us worship the Lord, who is our
refuge and strength.

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Merciful Savior, you stand beside us, yet we prefer to stand on our own. You choose us, yet we choose worry. You attend to us, yet we attend to our work. Forgive us, merciful God. Call us by name and visit us once more that we might find at your feet our joy, our purpose, and our hope...
Silent Prayers of Confession
ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
In Jesus all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through Jesus all things, whether on earth or in heaven, have been reconciled to God. (Colossians 1:19, 20) Friends, believe the gospel: in Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
Thanks be to God!
