One:    Then I heard every creature on earth,

and under the earth, and in the sea, singing:

PRAYER OF CONFESSION                                         

Lord God, in the light of your glory we see the evil we have done, the suffering we have caused, the good we have refused, and the truth we have denied. Free us of our sin,

wash us in your mercy, and feed us with your grace,

so that we may follow your way and tell the good news of the gospel…

The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Hear then Christ’s word of grace to us: our sins are forgiven.
