WELCOME AND CONCERNS OF THE CONGREGATION
PRELUDE “If Thou But Suffer God to Guide Thee”
Setting by Paul Manz
*CALL TO WORSHIP– Psalm 26:1-2
Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity,
And I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.
Prove me, O Lord, and try me; test my heart and mind.
For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in faithfulness to you.

*HYMN 620 Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
O God, we come to you today confessing that we have not followed in the ways of your Son, Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. We have not loved and trusted in you. We hear and witness conflicts and disagreements that have led to division and dissention but have chosen to remain in comfortable silence. Forgive us, Merciful God. Create in us a clean heart and a desire to follow your ways so we may know and do what is right and pleasing to you. In the name of Christ we pray…
Silent Prayers of Confession
ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
We rejoice in the good news that God sent Jesus into the world not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Those who believe in him are not condemned; (John 3:17,18) but loved, accepted and forgiven.
Thanks be to God!
