God of heaven and earth, we name before you the sin that enslaves us, the sin that wounds us and others, the sin that scars our world. Forgive us and heal us. Guard us from all evil. Give to us and the whole creation the freedom of the glory of the children of God...

ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS from Romans 8:1-2, 5:1

Hear the good news: There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death. Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
