PRAYER OF CONFESSION
O God of life and breath, your Spirit calls to us. But often we are reluctant to act. The wind of the Spirit blows and draws us ahead, yet we want to hang onto what is familiar and safe. Give us courage to yield ourselves to your Spirit, for you are sovereign and at work in the world. Help us let go of that which does not nurture us, for you are the source of life. Remind us as we struggle in our failures and disappointments that we struggle in the palm of your hand…
Silent Prayers of Confession
ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
There is no place so far away that the love of God cannot touch. There is no emptiness so great that the grace of God cannot fill. God’s arms remain open to us always, ready to embrace us in the wideness of mercy and to welcome us home. In the name of Christ who makes all things new, we are forgiven.
Thanks be to God! Amen!
