WELCOME AND CONCERNS OF THE CONGREGATION
PRELUDE “Take My Life, That I May Be” Kristina Langlois
*CALL TO WORSHIP – Psalm 139:1-6
One: You have searched me, Lord,
All: and you know me.
One: You know when I sit and when I rise;
All: you perceive my thoughts from afar.
One: You discern my going out and my lying down;
All: you are familiar with all my ways.
One: Before a word is on my tongue
All: you, Lord, know it completely.
One: You hem me in behind and before,
All: and you lay your hand upon me.
One: Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
All: too lofty for me to attain.

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Sovereign God, we confess that we have not turned away from sin. We follow the advice of the wicked and scoff at those who do good. We make plans we cannot complete and promises we will not fulfill. Forgive us, God of grace. Refresh and renew our hearts, so that we may seek your will and do all the good we can; through Jesus Christ our Lord…
Silent Prayers of confession
ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
As a potter holds a piece of clay, God holds and shapes our lives. As you repent of your sin and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for your salvation, know that you are forgiven and be at peace.
Thanks be to God!
